About The Position

In Places, we don't sit back and let things happen; we make things happen, and we do this in service to all Apple employees and customers. Our team is a diverse and nimble group that manages Apple's retail stores, workplaces, and workplace services. We develop and manage Apple's global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world. As part of our Places Construction team, you'll play a significant role in transforming spaces into functional corporate offices and product development centers. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of our key capital projects, including the delivery of high-design workplaces and technically complex laboratory fit-outs. This role requires a unique blend of skills-the ability to implement an elevated design vision with meticulous attention to detail, deep technical expertise, and strong project management discipline.

Requirements

  • 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-design architectural projects where aesthetic quality and finish were paramount.
  • Ability to drive progress across diverse cross-functional teams through collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, consensus building, and interpersonal skills; able to articulate sophisticated ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and navigates ambiguity with confidence.
  • An eye for quality and the rigor to ensure nothing is overlooked in both design and technical execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of key capital projects.

  • Coordinate with a diverse group of stakeholders including executive leadership, internal cross-functional partners, architects, engineers, and general contractors.

  • Identify potential issues before they become problems and develop creative, effective solutions.
