About The Position
AECOM is hiring a Construction Project Manager to support various transportation design-build projects throughout the Tallahassee, Florida area. The role involves receiving general instructions regarding assignments and exercising initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems related to transportation engineering and construction projects. The Construction Project Manager will direct and assign specific tasks to administrative and field staff and assist in all phases of the construction project. Responsibilities include progress estimates and final estimates throughout the construction project duration, effective communication in English (verbally and in writing), and conducting work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. The position may involve leading a team of engineers and professional support personnel on projects of substantial complexity.
