The Pre-Construction Manager/ Cost Estimator will direct, manage, and supervise project delivery through leading the activities of construction project managers and associated staff. This role involves establishing the vision and strategy for pre-construction cost management at the university, aligning it with institutional goals and industry standards. The manager will lead financial management efforts for high-value and complex projects including Academic, Research, and Healthcare projects, setting benchmarks for cost effectiveness and risk management. The position requires providing executive oversight on cost tracking and reporting, driving financial performance and minimizing risks across all pre-construction projects. The manager will prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analyses to senior executives, influencing university strategies and decisions, and mentor project managers and other leaders on cost management practices.
