About The Position

The Project Manager will oversee the design and construction of large-scale MEP-heavy specialty labs, data centers, or quantum computing facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring projects meet high standards of quality, efficiency, and innovation while aligning with client goals. The position is hybrid, based in San Diego, with occasional travel to other Southern California locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of project management experience in managing design and construction of large-scale MEP infrastructure facilities.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects exceeding $100 million in construction cost.
• Experience with heavy MEP infrastructure projects.
• LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the entire project lifecycle from planning, entitlements, design, through construction.
• Make informed strategic decisions regarding project direction and prioritization.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication with all team members, including user groups, vendors, and internal teams.
• Work closely with internal team members to ensure project goals align with client standards and guidelines.
• Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to handle multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
• Navigate planning, entitlements, design, and construction with end users efficiently and effectively.
• Adhere to and enforce strict processes and protocols to maintain consistency and quality in project execution.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and resources.
