The Construction Project Manager is a leader of a construction project management team within the organization and manages the planning, development, design, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of assigned projects. You will report to the Manager of Projects or Manager of Programs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction management, or commercial facilities construction.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams on construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and ability to interpret design drawings and specifications.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple complex projects while managing risks and constraints.
  • Familiarity with construction and project management processes, including purchasing and contract management.
  • Experience developing strategies for managing construction projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality, hotel, or resort operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the team to prioritize and execute project activities.
  • Train team members on project management processes and professional development, while promoting company values.
  • Manage assigned projects throughout the full lifecycle—including scope, schedule, and budget accountability.
  • Drive project progress across all phases: development, planning, design, contracting, construction, and closeout—ensuring documentation and stakeholder goals are efficiently managed.
  • Influence partners and peers to support project solutions while facilitating and inviting diverse points of view.
  • Develop bid strategies, including contract administration, scope of work, creative bid alternates, and operational constraints.
  • Build and maintain project schedules, ensuring contractor staffing aligns with planning tasks and completion targets.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks based on historical precedence and project complexity.
  • Use project and contract management systems to oversee daily operations.
  • Develop field directives, coordinate costing with Estimating, convert to change orders, and secure approvals to ensure accurate financial reporting and job closeouts.
  • Recommend solutions to reduce operational impact and negotiate with operators to implement projects effectively.
