Sodexo is seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Project Manager to support our integrated facilities management operations at Tufts Medical Center, a premier academic healthcare institution in downtown Boston. This position will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of capital improvement projects, infrastructure upgrades, and compliance-related renovations within a highly regulated and complex hospital environment. As part of Sodexo's on-site facilities leadership team, the Project Manager plays a key role in aligning project execution with the strategic goals of both Tufts Medical Center and Sodexo, ensuring that all work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of capital construction and renovation projects in an active healthcare setting
  • Manage project schedules, cost controls, contractor coordination, and procurement activities
  • Monitor progress to ensure alignment with project specifications, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Oversee compliance with all relevant codes, permitting requirements, safety regulations, and Joint Commission standards
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with hospital stakeholders, design professionals, regulatory agencies, and contractors
  • Ensure proper documentation, meeting minutes, project reporting, and workflow tracking throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support administrative functions including invoice processing, budget reconciliation, and project status reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement and adherence to Sodexo and client expectations for project delivery
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years of project management experience in facilities construction, preferably in a healthcare or regulated environment
  • Proven ability to lead construction teams, manage subcontractors, and maintain high levels of quality and safety
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and healthcare facility standards
  • Experience with project engineering tasks including plan/spec review, design adaptation, and compliance validation
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
