About The Position

The Construction Project Executive is responsible for leading and managing multiple large construction projects, ensuring successful delivery through strategic planning, team leadership, and client engagement. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, overseeing project managers and ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, commercial or industrial projects ($20M+)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as project management software and tools
  • Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical systems

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Knowledge of Building Automation, Fire Alarm Systems, and/or Security Systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple large construction projects simultaneously
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Be an onsite presence to monitor project progress and resolve issues proactively
  • Manage subcontractors, ensuring their activities align with project scope, quality, and timelines; maintain strict compliance with safety regulations
  • Diligently track project resources and progress, documenting any events impacting the schedule, scope, and overall efficiency; identify and pursue opportunities for project-specific change orders
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and clients
  • Maintain strong relationships and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Establish expectations and ensure customer and Siemens interests are aligned
  • Supervise and mentor project managers, technicians, and other team members
  • Promote a culture and ensure safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasts, cashflow, and financial reporting
  • Approve major expenditures and negotiate contracts
  • Identify potential risks; develop & implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, quality, and safety standards
  • Contribute to business development efforts and strategic growth initiatives
  • Participate in preconstruction planning and proposal development
