The Construction Project Estimating Intern position at ArchKey Solutions offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the electrical construction industry. Assist with quantity takeoffs and material cost calculations for various construction projects.
Review project plans, specifications, and documentation to prepare cost estimates.
Collaborate with project teams to gather data and validate assumptions.
Research vendor pricing and maintain up-to-date cost databases.
Participate in bid preparations and pre-construction planning meetings.

Currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a business-related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with construction plans, blueprints, and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
