About The Position
As a Construction Project Engineer at Rockford Construction, your role will involve providing support throughout all phases of a construction project and its team. You will contribute to the interpretation of plans and specifications, the compilation of contract documentation, cost tracking, document management, and a range of administrative responsibilities. Additionally, you will help organize and oversee the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. The Project Engineer will operate under the direct supervision of the project superintendent and select Project Managers. This position may also take on some tasks typically performed by the superintendent or senior superintendent. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have experience reviewing, analyzing and resolving field construction issues and design discrepancies, along with strong communication and project management skills, client/customer service focus, and great organizational skills.
