About The Position

Join our team and grow with us both professionally and personally! Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Construction Project Engineer position. In this role, you will be responsible for the documentation for all aspects of construction projects from commencement to close-out, utilizing construction management software. Ensures construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. Reviews requisitions and purchase orders, and submits invoices for processing. Manages the contractor/subcontractor database and pre-qualification process, including seeking out new subcontractors. Provides support to the Acts Construction team and facilitates coordination for multiple construction projects at more than one community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates degree or construction management certification (preferred).
  • Minimum of two years' experience in construction and/or construction administration.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, documents, and specifications.
  • Willingness to travel for periodic site visits.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
