About The Position

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to be based in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves assisting the Project Management team with various construction administration tasks, ensuring projects are completed within budget and in conformance with contracts. The Construction Project Engineer will be involved in preparing subcontractor reports, participating in site visits, coordinating with the superintendent, and managing document flow through various systems. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
Associate’s degree + 2 years of relevant experience
HS/GED + 4 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

Previous experience supporting construction, materials, equipment, and/or industrial operations
Experience with scheduling and logistical requirements

Responsibilities

Assisting the Project Management team by overseeing construction administration tasks
Preparing subcontractor reports as needed to keep Supervisor and Client informed of ongoing progress
Participating in site visits
Coordinating and assisting superintendent as required
Receiving, reviewing and submitting documents for approval (Submittals/ RFIs/ etc.)
Assisting project manager costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract
Working with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
Attending meetings and reporting on project tasks as needed
