The Construction Program Manager will coordinate construction projects across the West region, ensuring successful delivery by implementing processes and standards. This role involves overseeing project management objectives, collaborating with teams, and supporting business development efforts, contributing to the growth of the organization's construction projects.

  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures for all employees.
  • Support the Director of Construction West in establishing and implementing project management objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are executed according to job specifications, project requirements, and corporate policies.
  • Assist in developing project plans and schedules, monitoring project progress, and identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
  • Track approvals for proposals, contract changes, and other project-related documents according to the Dawson Authority Matrix.
  • Support the management of project budgets and expenses, including monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Assist in managing indirect costs to ensure compliance with corporate policies regarding overhead labor and travel.
  • Participate in project review processes to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and reporting dates.
  • Support employee development programs and plans as directed by the Director of Construction West.
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the West Region.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management or related field
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with construction management software
  • Familiarity with safety compliance regulations
  • Previous experience in business development within the construction industry
