About The Position

Responsible for reviewing and approving contractor applications, maintaining contractors in BUILT, inputting loans and budgets in construction management software, and managing construction loan projects, including draws and inspections within the construction management software. Reviews contractor applications, including verifying references, obtaining a credit report, setting up in construction software, and approving the application. Input and set up budgets for each originated construction project. Manage draws and inspections for the life of the construction loan. Responsible for booking Encompass Loans into BUILT. Coordinate with Mortgage Servicing for documents required for permanent financing. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
• Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature.
• Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level.
• Outside contacts become important, and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
• Experience with BUILT or another Construction Management software required.
• Must be familiar with and have the ability to type, use the PC, and the mortgage software system to input applicant information and to create closing documents.
• Must have good communication skills to interact with applicants and agents.
• Must demonstrate the ability to learn all aspects of real estate processing.
• Must possess a high degree of organizational skills and the ability to work accurately while meeting deadlines.
