About The Position

The Construction Operations Manager will oversee a team of service technicians and support staff to enhance customer satisfaction while improving productivity and profitability. This role involves recruiting, developing, and retaining employees, ensuring operational excellence, and managing the service P&L for the local Columbus office.

Responsibilities

• Support service coordinators with scheduling technicians.
• Supervise service technicians.
• Receive and review Time Verification Reports from service technicians.
• Coordinate technician factory OEM training, and train new employees.
• Review work orders, pre-invoice reports, service invoices.
• Manage service parts, order filters & belts for the P/M accounts.
• Administer safety programs, monitor compliance with job site safety, safety training, safety documentation, auditing, and reporting.
• Establish project timelines, communicate with customers, and coordinate project schedule.
• Manage projects, assign personnel, oversee ordering of equipment and material.
• Ensure that maintenance contract commitments are fulfilled, and inspections completed on time.
• Provide input to Service Coordinator on scheduling activity of technicians.
• Work with the technician team to generate pull-through service and repair work.
• Work with manufacturers to negotiate and file warranty claims.
• Manage Tech Tip program and lead customer care initiatives.
• Work with Service Sales Manager and Sales Representatives to resolve customer issues, including customer visits.
• Oversee assigned service vehicles, monitor vehicles to ensure they are being maintained and operated as required and used according to company policy.
