2026 Summer Internship — Construction Operations Internship The Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) is seeking interns to join our team this summer. As an IBHS intern, you’ll contribute to our mission of strengthening homes, businesses, and communities against severe weather—which means making a difference in the lives of real people. What You’ll Learn As a Construction Operations intern, you’ll get experience in supporting IBHS’s research including, but not limited to: Spending about 20% of your time with the Construction and Facilities Manager to maintain digital communication and schedule. Spending the other 80% will be with the carpentry and/or facilities team learning the skills associated with each trade. Skill Development for Intern: Project management Drafting and design Engineering Architecture Carpentry Welding Fabrication

Requirements

• Capable of performing physical tasks associated with construction and/or facilities management as well as computer based management systems.
• Applicants should be authorized to work in the US.
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
