Our Resident Engineering Inspection division has a need for on-site M-E Construction Inspector for a major NYSDOT Railroad Lift Span Bridge for specialized inspection of Mechanical - Electrical Systems and components

Requirements

  • Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of construction inspection experience and specified knowledge of mechanical-electrical systems
  • Understanding of detailed technical: construction plans, shop drawings and material submissions.
  • Quality Control (QC) review/inspection related to installation of specialized activities related to Lift Bridge Systems. Inclusive of: Mechanical House, Operator House, Signal House, Bridge Lift Components, Elevators, Communications, Railroad Signals, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC and Plumbing.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage time to inspect multiple work crews.
  • Ability to work independently, with a self-driven approach and commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • OSHA 10 required.
  • Authorized to work in the United States and maintains current Driver’s License.
