About The Position

The Facilities Management Department has an immediate opening for a Sr. Construction Mechanic reporting to Chris McClaning, Construction Supervisor. This individual will be part of our Internal Construction Team and will perform maintenance and new construction throughout our building.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required
  • 5 to 9+ years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of drywall installation and finishing experience required
  • EPA Universal Certification is preferred
  • Other essential duties and/or any physical requirements are required to perform essential duties for the role.

  • Employees who work at and/or visit another Federal Reserve entity or outside business as part of their job duties are required to comply with any onsite safety and health protocols of those organizations (including, but not limited to, requirements to vaccinate or test, mask, social distance, etc.).

  • Selected candidate is subject to special background check procedures.
  • The hiring range of the Senior level is $51,700 – $71,000 annually.
  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Install new and modify existing drywall
  • Read and understand architectural and mechanical drawings
  • Performs skilled carpentry work in constructing, altering, repairing, and maintaining cabinetry, finishes, carpentry, furniture and trim for renovations, repairs and new construction in one million+ square foot Class A office space.
  • Installation and finishing of walls, carpet, and ceiling finishes
  • Inspecting work performed by external vendors
  • Maintains original architectural standards, and collaborates with other trades to achieve high quality results delivered on time
