We are seeking a Construction & Materials Testing Specialist to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines responsibilities for material testing and construction inspection, ensuring quality and compliance across diverse projects. Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction inspection or material testing.
• Material testing experience highly desirable.
• Safety certifications (OSHA 10, First Aid, CPR) preferred.
• ACI or WVDOH testing certifications highly desirable.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background checks are required.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and field testing on construction materials such as concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and soil.
• Interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
• Monitor construction progress, adherence to plans, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of project quantities, daily reports, and changes.
• Keep accurate redline or as-built drawings to document modifications.
• Communicate effectively through written reports and facilitate information flow among stakeholders.
• Ensure quality standards and prevent construction defects.
• Adapt to different job site locations and schedules, including night shift roles
• Travel as needed, including periodic and extended stays.
• Complete certification courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Willingness to learn additional roles and support other divisions when workload demands.
