About The Position
Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has immediate openings for a Soils and Materials testing Field Technician in Salt Lake City, Utah. The successful candidate will conduct field density testing of soil utility backfill, mass grading, paving subgrade, proof-rolling observation experience, asphalt production and density testing as well as field concrete sampling and testing.
Requirements
- Candidate should have at least 2 years of construction materials testing
- Excellent mathematical, verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Good organizational skills
- Strong work ethic
- Must have a current valid driver's license and very good driving record
- Soils field testing experience
- Current radiation user safety certificate
- Experience with field testing of concrete with current ACI Field I certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience in construction inspection
- Soils and materials testing
- Appropriate field certifications including WAQTC
- Asphalt experience
