About The Position

Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has immediate openings for a Soils and Materials testing Field Technician in Salt Lake City, Utah. The successful candidate will conduct field density testing of soil utility backfill, mass grading, paving subgrade, proof-rolling observation experience, asphalt production and density testing as well as field concrete sampling and testing.

Requirements

• at least 2 years of construction materials testing
• excellent mathematical, verbal and written communication skills
• positive attitude
• good organizational skills
• strong work ethic
• current valid driver's license
• very good driving record
• Experience with field testing of concrete with current ACI Field I certification

Nice To Haves

• soils field testing experience
• current radiation user safety certificate
• asphalt experience
• Experience in construction inspection
• soils and materials testing
• appropriate field certifications including WAQTC
