About The Position

We are seeking a highly-motivated intern to join our Materials Testing Lab for Summer 2026 in our Mays Landing, NJ office. Requirements

• Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Construction Technology or pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Interest in Geotechnical/Concrete/Asphalt Testing.
• Must have reliable transportation to the office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess solid problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.
• A valid driver's license and good driving record required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects.
• Prepare reports and document project activities and data.
• Prepare analyses from collected data.
• Set up and help maintain project files and records.
• Field work consisting of sample collection, soil/asphalt coring, pick-ups, and flagging.

Benefits

• Compensation: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)
