Requirements

Strong work ethic and willingness to work in outdoor environments
Interest in construction materials, mining, or infrastructure projects
Computer skills required, social media proficiency a plus.
Written and Intrapersonal Communication skills
Intermediate knowledge of construction industry
Ability to work under pressure, deal with budgets, and tight project schedules
High School diploma or equivalent.
Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Business, Civil Engineering or related
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must be 18 years or older.
Documentation that proves eligibility to work in the U.S.
Attention and commitment to safety.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Implement Suncore mission (Building a Better Community) and core values (We Value People, Our Word is Our Bond, Always Give a Full Measure, We Continuously Improve).
Assist location operation managers to plan and review daily work and make business process improvements as directed by the Area Manager
Assist with daily business duties, including, preparing material price quotes, sampling materials, preparing submittal information for projects, coordinating logistics with suppliers and data entry into key systems
Assist with daily operations at aggregate pits or construction material facilities
Support quality control sampling and testing of sand, gravel, and other construction materials
Assist in maintaining accurate records related to production, sales and inventory
Assist with equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance tracking
Support site supervisors with project coordination and operational tasks
Observe and participate in safety meetings, safety inspections, and hazard identification
Learn industry standards, specifications, and best practices for construction materials
Help track production data and assist with basic reporting or KPI tracking
Assist in asset management and integration into maintenance program
Maintain an insurable driving record.
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
