About The Position

Kleinfelder's Construction Services team is looking for a Construction Materials and Geotechnical Testing Laboratory Technician to join our Irving (DFW) TX office. This role involves performing routine to complex testing for construction materials and geotechnical testing in the laboratory to verify conformance to standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong initiative and will be responsible for following proper procedures, performing daily routine testing, maintaining cordial relationships with co-workers and clients, and preparing daily reports and data sheets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• 0-3 years of construction materials laboratory testing experience preferred

Nice To Haves

• ACI - Level I (Concrete Compressive Strength and/or Aggregate Testing)
• NICET - Level I (Soils and/or Construction Materials Testing)

Responsibilities

• Following proper procedures and standards
• Performing daily routine testing of construction materials and geotechnical samples
• Performing accurate computations
• Maintaining cordial relationships with co-workers, clients, contractors, etc.
• Preparing daily reports and data sheets
• Performing various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor
