The Construction Manager assists Project Leaders and Project Managers in carrying out all project activities. This role assumes responsibility for coordinating certain portions of the administration of the project such as cost control, document control, contract changes, shop drawings, etc. The Construction Manager may be responsible for certain subcontractors or parts of a large project and can perform some basic project management functions under minimal supervision. Typically, this position requires an undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline and 4-8 years of experience in the construction industry.
