About The Position

WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Construction Manager for a contract position lasting one year in Fisher County, Texas. The role involves supporting Westinghouse's mission to provide clean energy solutions. The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedules while managing relationships with contractors and team members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a construction manager.

Responsibilities

  • Know the SAFETY PLAN and conduct a kickoff meeting.
  • Host site-specific orientation and ensure understanding of permits, road use agreements, and other essential documents.
  • Set expectations and lead team members in safety assessments and documentation.
  • Develop relationships with contractors and engage in project activities.
  • Monitor project quality and track progress against the schedule.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation for management.
  • Manage material delivery schedules and coordinate with vendors.
  • Utilize safety teams and subject matter experts to improve project outcomes.
