Hybrid model of 3 days per week in office. Full time Reports to: Vice President of Operations Sitestream is seeking a Construction Manager to coordinate construction support services related to municipal compliance-related construction support. This role serves as the operational link between internal teams and third-party construction companies, ensuring work is properly scheduled, tracked, and completed in compliance with local requirements. The Construction Manager focuses on coordinating workflows, monitoring progress, and maintaining visibility across active projects rather than performing hands-on construction. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, operations-focused, and experienced in managing external contractors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, project operations, or contractor coordination
  • Proven experience managing third-party construction vendors
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows and scheduling
  • Experience with budget tracking, invoicing, and documentation
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through skills

Nice To Haves

  • PMP-certified professional with proven experience applying formal project management methodologies to third-party construction oversight.
  • Background in compliance-driven, municipal, or inspection-related construction
  • Experience working with permitting offices or inspectors
  • Familiarity with project tracking or construction management software

Responsibilities

  • Management of the day-to-day operations including support outsourcing of infrastructure tasks, ensuring proper management of contractors, permits, equipment needs, and site logistics
  • Review and analyse construction drawings to ensure accurate execution in the field, coordinating with third-party contractors to resolve discrepancies and maintain design intent.
  • Serve as the technical and managerial point of contact for ITS construction, resolving field issues, constructability concerns, and design conflicts with third-party construction companies
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and approved budgets
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact between contractors and internal teams
  • Ensure work aligns with local / state building requirements and compliance standards
  • Identify and escalate operational issues, delays, or budget concerns
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including state requirements, inspections, and close-out records
  • Conduct or coordinate site visits and ensure all physical deployment prerequisites are met.
  • Provide regular project status updates to leadership
