About The Position

Details: Key Responsibilities Preconstruction & Stage Gate Execution Lead construction input during all stage gate phases (Concept, FEED, Detailed Design, Construction Readiness), ensuring constructability, sequencing, and execution strategies are fully developed and validated. Review and approve construction execution plans, staffing plans, work packaging, and contractor bid strategies. Participate in constructability reviews and value engineering efforts to optimize construction methods, safety, schedule, and cost. Construction Execution & Contractor Management Manage EPC, contractors, and subcontractors, including mobilization, daily supervision, performance evaluation, and enforcement of contract requirements. Establish and lead the construction management team, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and reporting structure. Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, construction methods, and quality standards. Safety, Quality & Field Engineering Enforce site safety programs and ensure full compliance with company and regulatory safety requirements. Provide field engineering support, including resolution of technical issues, interpretation of drawings and specifications, and coordination with engineering disciplines. Direct quality personnel, review non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Change Management & Cost Control Lead the construction change management process, including identification, evaluation, documentation, and approval of change orders. Track and manage construction changes against approved budgets, with a clear understanding of targeted change order thresholds as a percentage of Total Installed Cost (TIC). Provide accurate cost, schedule, and progress reporting to Project Management. Communication & Reporting Serve as the primary construction interface with Project Managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders. Deliver clear, concise progress reporting, including productivity, schedule impacts, safety performance, and risk mitigation. Proactively identify construction risks and develop mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing construction of tank farms, terminals, and/or pipeline infrastructure .
  • Demonstrated understanding of stage gate project delivery processes .
  • Hands-on experience leading constructability reviews and applying appropriate construction methods.
  • Strong background in contractor and subcontractor management , including multi-discipline construction teams.
  • Direct experience with construction change management , including TIC-based change order targets.
  • Strong technical ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
