About The Position

AECOM is actively seeking a Construction Manager for immediate employment in Orange, CA. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies. Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends. Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. May have budget responsibilities. Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization. Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction. Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day

Requirements

  • BA/BS +8 years or more of relatable or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • MVR check required

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of previous CM experience on transportation and building projects including Port of Entry Development.
  • CA – Professional Engineer
  • UBC Standard Experience with CM of Building Construction
  • CALTRANS Standard Experience with CM of Roadway, Freeway Interchanges, Bridge, Multi-Level Interchange, Bridge Class Culverts, Signing & Pavement Markings, Illumination, Rail-Highway Design, Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities, Hydraulic Design, Environmental Studies, and Transportation System Planning)
  • Experience with Business Development/Client Relations
  • Experience with SANDAG/CALTRANS proposals and interviews
  • Proven experience of success with SANDAG/CALTRANS pursuits
  • Experience with managing people at various experience levels and ability to mentor with their career development
  • Good communication skills and ability to manage a team
