About The Position

Armand Corporation, an M/WBE Construction Management and Program Management firm celebrating over 34 years in the industry, is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join our construction management (CM) team. Specific tasks will include, but not be limited to, management of construction activities, security sensitive awareness implementation and training, design review, and reporting. Additional tasks shall include: Establish good working relationships with current and potential clients; require well-developed communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Maintain detailed daily reports and cost monitoring using project management, visual communication software, and Excel to ensure adherence to deadlines and schedules Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project Respond to work delays and other problems and emergencies Manage permits and licenses from appropriate authorities, coordinate inspections Ensure state, local, and federal safety and environmental compliance with requirements Manage project budget, minimize and track expenses; provide finance reporting as needed Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience working with design documents, contract documents, and specifications
  • Knowledge of CPM Scheduling
  • Ability to implement Quality and Safety Plans
  • OSHA Training required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Microsoft Project/Primavera
  • Detailed knowledge of City and State building codes
