The Construction Manager will oversee the $22M CalFire Helitack Base project in Chino, CA. This project involves the construction of a new Helitack base on the existing site, which includes an aircraft hangar with a foam suppression system capable of enclosing a multi-blade helicopter, a warehouse/shop building, a garage for support vehicles, a 26-bed barracks building, a helicopter training tower/hoist, and two helipads. The scope of work encompasses necessary grading and drainage, above-ground fuel storage and dispensing facilities, a water tank and fire suppression pump system, asphalt paving, sidewalks, curbs, a wash rack, flammable storage, landscaping, lighting, solar power, fencing, and the installation of water and electrical power systems including generators, solar power, LPG/natural gas, and telephone and radio cabling. The project is designed to meet the requirements of LEED Silver and will continue to utilize the existing helipad during construction.
