The Terminal 7 / Terminal 8 Refresh Construction Manager (Construction Manager) shall report to the Terminal 7 / Terminal Project Manager (Project Manager) and is responsible for managing and coordinating construction activities of the Contractor. The Construction Manager acts as the liaison for pre-construction and construction activities, including leading the safety, security and quality for the Program. The Terminal 7 and 8 Refresh Project encompass a series of improvements aimed at enhancing resiliency, sustainability, and the overall user experience. Key scope components include interior renovations, aircraft apron pavement rehabilitation, concessions enabling, and other supporting enhancements. The Construction Manager is responsible for managing the scope, cost, schedule and operational interfaces of all design and construction related activities for the program. The Construction Manager will be focused on schedule certainty, budget delivery and making sure that construction work meets the required quality standards while enforcing a strong health, safety, and environmental culture on the project. The Construction Manager will support the development and implementation of design, construction, testing, commissioning, turnover plans, impacts to the operations, ensuring that risk mitigation for construction activities are optimized, working and coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring LAWA standards are adhered to.
