We are currently seeking an Onsite Construction Manager / Inspector to join our team. This role requires (5 years) of experience in construction management on large vertical construction projects with complex MEP systems. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related technical field is required. 5+ years of experience in construction management on large projects for new construction, mechanical systems, renovations, upgrades or new fit-outs. Experience in the use of construction industry project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, Kahua, etc. is required. Experience with coordinating with various project stakeholders, contractors, architects and engineers during all construction project phases. Experience with reviewing design document submittals, reviewing cost and schedule estimates, collecting, preparing, and reporting programmatic information. Experience in coordinating, managing, and participating in inspections and tests, which involves producing field reports and logging, tracking, and overseeing work items and their completion statuses. Experience in supporting, executing, and engaging in quality control, safety, and project management responsibilities. Fluent in project management principles and how to implement project management principles. Ability to analyze all relevant project related information and communicate project status and issues effectively in writing and verbally. Capability to understand and analyze drawings and specifications, interpret the terms and conditions of contracts, possess a working knowledge of CPM scheduling, exhibit strong communication skills, demonstrate intermediate computer proficiency, and showcase leadership abilities. Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and working well within a team environment. Preferred, though not mandatory: OSHA 10 or 30 certification, CMIT or CCM certification, and USACE QCM certification (this can be obtained after hiring). It is preferred, although not mandatory, to have experience in construction for large data center or technology campus projects, or for projects involving intricate MEP systems and cooling requirements.
