Requirements

  • Minimum 6+ years for Construction Manager/ Field Manager/ Field Superintendent commercial or educational projects.
  • 6+ year’s experience with construction management processes and knowledge of construction means and methods as well as with computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Bluebeam, Kahua, Plan Grid, Procore or other similar project management software.
  • 6+ years of experience in construction phases with the ability to solve problems, interpret information and draw conclusions to make decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil) or construction management or equivalent degree (desired but not required) and OSHA 30 Hour Safety Training.
  • The ability to stand, sit and walk throughout the day; bend, crawl, climb (ladders, stairs, hills, etc.) and reach overhead; ability to lift 40 pounds or more and to comply with personal protective equipment requirements and to endure extreme physical temperatures as well as experience loud noises and fumes on project sites.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll work under the direction of the Project Manager and coordinate/interact with the full project team, including Owner consultants, governing agencies, third-party testing and inspection agencies, the design-builder, and furniture/equipment vendors; maintain regular on-site presence during construction hours (typically 7 AM–4 PM, Monday–Friday), support additional hours as directed, and remain available 24/7 for emergency contact when off-site.
  • You’ll identify safety concerns observed in the field and escalate them to the contractor responsible and Accenture staff.
  • You’ll review and stay familiar with construction drawings, specifications, general conditions, contracts, and project documentation; verify contractor materials and equipment align with approved submittals; monitor on-site work for compliance with contract documents; track RFIs and responses; and maintain detailed daily logs covering weather, activities, deliveries, change orders, field changes, milestones, inspections/tests, startups, training, safety issues, delays, manpower, site visitors, and other key events.
  • You’ll coordinate and attend code inspections with authorities having jurisdiction, coordinate and witness required third-party testing and inspections, participate in and document final inspections, and attend staff, progress, pre-installation, and coordination meetings.
  • You’ll monitor and review construction CPM schedules, record actual start and completion dates, track key project chronology events, and document daily contractor manpower by subcontractor and trade.
  • You’ll review pencil copies of contractors’ monthly Applications for Payment with the Project Manager, field team, design-builder, and owner.
  • You’ll assist the Project Manager with technical review and comments on Potential Impacts (PIs) and Change Order Requests (CORs); monitor T&M work daily; track manpower, equipment, and materials; and collect signed daily extra work tickets.
  • You’ll take a minimum of 10 date-stamped digital photos daily, properly name and upload files, and document installations and deficiencies for project records and monthly progress reports.
  • You’ll observe and confirm the contractor maintains as-built drawings, continuously punch-list installations for compliance, document deficiencies in the Nonconformance Log, issue items for corrective action, generate punch lists, track progress, and support closeout activities.
  • You’ll adapt Construction Manager responsibilities as directed by the Project Manager and/or Supervisor based on specific project requirements.
