The Construction Manager DWV Expert conducts field assessments on PG&E’s electric distribution facilities. These work assessments focus on verifying the quality of: Overhead (OH) and underground (UG) inspections as required by GO 165. Additionally verifies the current condition of prior construction work performed by Electric Distribution (ED) construction crews in conjunction with emergency and planned Electric Corrective (EC) notifications to ensure facilities were constructed and maintained per the requirements of PG&E Construction Standards. Compliance Supervisor’s completed work verifications of inspectors. Compliance Specialist job duties and responsibilities. Compliance/Routine Field Clerk (RFC) job duties and responsibilities. Works independently, utilizing advanced knowledge of electric utility regulatory general orders. Partners with Functional Area (FA) coworkers on identifying root causes, trends, process improvements, and implementing corrective action solutions. Acts as a technical resource for System Inspection field personnel. Facilitates post verification review meetings to summarize and present complex findings to FA coworkers. Responsible for resolving gaps between external requirements and internal standards. Establishes new processes for emergent verification assessment requests. Leads tailboard discussions with System Inspection personnel within all PG&E regions This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and assigned location based on business needs.
