About The Position

The position involves overseeing the scheduling and supervision of daily trade partner activities, ensuring the quality and efficiency of their work. Responsibilities include reviewing and requesting modifications to construction drawings, evaluating project schedules, and making necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion. The role also requires managing the customer experience throughout the construction process, conducting daily inspections for safety compliance, and negotiating field purchase orders for materials and labor. The position collaborates with various teams to address improvements in plan quality, schedule adherence, and budgetary challenges.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of construction experience or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the scheduling and supervision of daily trade partner activities.
  • Evaluate the quality and efficiency of trade partner work.
  • Review and request modifications to construction drawings when errors or conflicts arise.
  • Evaluate and update project schedules and resources as needed.
  • Ensure timely completion of homes and compliance with contract obligations and safety protocols.
  • Stop any work that is unsatisfactory or noncompliant.
  • Manage customer experience and maintain regular communication.
  • Interact with Community Sales personnel to manage community performance.
  • Conduct daily inspections for safety compliance.
  • Take immediate action to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Negotiate and authorize field purchase orders for materials and labor.
  • Inspect trade partner workmanship and product quality.
  • Authorize payment to trade partners when standards are met.
  • Collaborate with various teams to address areas of improvement.
  • Evaluate trade partner work for compliance with building codes and standards.
  • Participate in trade partner recruiting and vetting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
