Seeking a Construction Manager IV (CM4) This is a construction management position who reports to a lead construction manager and has responsibility for oversight of multiple small to medium size projects or one or two large projects. It involves supervision of field inspection staff and RPRs. Requirements for this position include the following: 7-10 years field experience in construction or construction management. Must be able to read plans and specifications. Good Communication skills Perform Construction Inspection duties on projects assigned. Able to lead project inspection on multiple projects. Able to direct inspectors and field staff. Able to work with Engineers on projects during construction. Able to communicate with Clients, Contractor ad Engineers. Complete Daily Construction Reports and other documentation as assigned by Construction Manager. Assist Construction Manager V and above as assigned. Ability to understand budgets and cost assignments. Construction Manager Certification from CMAA is encouraged and preferred. Willing to attend outside training – OSHA, CMAA, WCDA, AMPP, ACI, Etc. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, employee may have to work in outside weather conditions. Employees occasionally work near moving parts and exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. Employee will be expected to pass OSHA safety course as part of training for jobsite visits. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand up to 8 hours or more at one time, walk in rugged conditions, work in adverse weather conditions. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb or balance, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 125 pounds. Job Requirements 7 - 10 Years’ Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Engineering or Construction Management Construction Manager Certification from CMAA or ability to obtain it in 1 year. Professional Engineer License preferred. Valid Driver’s License Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, schedule software, project management software, and others as assigned. Willing to Travel up to 25% of time. Able to work in United Stated without sponsorship.
