About The Position

The Construction Management Senior (CMSr) at ENGIE will oversee construction sites and subcontractors for small to mid-size energy projects, ensuring adherence to safety practices and quality control measures. This role involves close collaboration with Project Directors and Managers during project execution, focusing on energy conservation measures and renewable generation projects. The position is field-based in California, requiring daily on-site presence during the construction period.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of construction management experience.
  • Technical experience or training with electrical, mechanical, and lighting projects.
  • Scheduling experience with Microsoft Project or comparable software.
  • Experience working with Project Inspectors and Field Engineers.
  • Experience in managing construction projects and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of project engineering for technical consultation and QA/QC inspections.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of energy conservation measures and renewable generation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee ENGIE's construction sites and subcontractors.
  • Provide baseline, milestone, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Ensure site safety practices are upheld.
  • Implement quality assurance/control measures for installations.
  • Collaborate with Project Directors and Managers during project execution.
  • Manage subcontractors and contracts administration.
  • Prepare and execute Health & Safety, Environmental, QA, and QC Plans.
  • Coordinate customer requirements for site access and security.
