Intermediate Professional, Construction Management
About The Position
WSP is seeking a motivated Professional to join our Construction Management team in Harrisburg, PA. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management who want to build a career in transportation and infrastructure vertical facilities. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting major infrastructure projects while developing foundational project management skills aligned with WSP's Professional career path . What You'll Do Manage Project Information: Review contractor submittals for accuracy and compliance; process RFIs and track responses in project logs. Maintain Project Documentation: Update logs for submittals, RFIs, change management, invoicing, DBE reporting, and certified payroll. Support Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to federal and state requirements (Buy America, DBE, wage rates); review documentation and resolve discrepancies. Assist with Meetings & Deliverables: Prepare agendas, record minutes, and support monthly deliverable updates. Field Documentation: Collect and organize daily reports, material tickets, progress photos, and compliance forms. Professional Growth: Apply basic construction management principles under guidance; learn project processes and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- 1-3 years experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and contract documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems

- Familiarity with transportation/infrastructure projects
