This position is responsible for performing continuous inspections of all aspects of construction and renovations as qualified by the Class certification including all structural aspects with documentation in accordance with AHJ requirements at assigned locations. The role involves reporting discrepancies to the General Contractor, Project Manager, and Architect/Engineer of Record and working with the Project Team for resolution. Responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications for inspections, developing inspection plans that ensure compliance with Contract Documents and applicable codes, maintaining an ongoing list of work to be corrected by the General Contractor, scheduling regulatory agency inspections, identifying potential construction conflicts, and ensuring all work is in accordance with the NIS Quality Assurance Governance Business Line. The position also promotes learning in others, facilitates team collaboration, and supports construction operations and deliverables.
