Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and oversee temporary wayfinding strategies that support pedestrian flow and user experience.
  • Assess signage quality, visual appeal, and adherence to standards and recommend sign types specific to each project.
  • Manage multiple collaborative wayfinding projects with multidisciplinary teams, including staff with technical and non-technical backgrounds, coordinate across various disciplines and meet multiple deadlines under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Read, interpret, and analyze project schedules, Gantt charts, and design plans as well as evaluate signage needs based on construction activities, environmental factors, and user expectations to maintain effective wayfinding.
  • Utilize your in-depth understanding of signage materials, fabrication methods, color theory, typography, and font specifications alongside your knowledge of signage, temporary wayfinding, and mapping industry best practices.
  • Review projects' submittals Phasing Plan and Site Logistics Plans as submitted through the ASR and LIR processes with a keen eye for wayfinding impacts.
  • Use your strong visualization skills to develop concepts, location plans, and proposed wayfinding paths of travel with high visual impact.
  • Oversee the planning, production, and installation of temporary wayfinding that translates complex information into easy-to-understand visuals.
  • Evaluate signage effectiveness and update plans as needed.
  • Track phasing for production and installation schedules across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and a holistic approach across projects.
  • Verify the quality and consistency of signage and wayfinding elements to ensure visual appeal and usability across all materials.
