About The Position

The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies. We are seeking an experienced Construction Logistics Specialist II (Communication Specialist) to support communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement for complex infrastructure and capital construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on communications professional who enjoys working closely with project teams, translating technical information into clear messaging, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout all phases of project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Planning, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in public or stakeholder communications, preferably supporting large-scale infrastructure, transportation, or civic projects
  • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with diverse communities, government agencies, and media
  • Familiarity with public-sector project lifecycles, construction phasing, and communication requirements
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Experience using email marketing platforms (e.g., Benchmark) for public notifications and advisories
  • Ability to pass a federal background check

Responsibilities

  • Develop and distribute project communication materials, including FAQs, fact sheets, advisories, construction notices, presentations, and exhibits, ensuring alignment with approved messaging and branding standards
  • Support internal communications by coordinating timely and accurate information sharing among project teams, partners, and stakeholders
  • Attend project meetings to gather updates and translate technical or construction-related information into clear, accessible messaging for public audiences
  • Coordinate and support project logistics information, schedules, deliveries, and scope execution related to communications
  • Verify project components such as permits, notices, permissions, and contractual requirements
  • Ensure contractors are delivering required documentation, including phasing plans, site logistics plans, construction notices, and related materials per contract requirements
  • Track, monitor, and report on public inquiries, complaints, and project-related issues, escalating sensitive matters as appropriate
  • Support stakeholder and community engagement activities, maintaining organized outreach records
  • Provide logistics and project updates to communications leadership for publication and external outreach
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Contractors, and Operations teams to align logistics across multiple projects
  • Monitor construction activities across projects to identify operational impacts, constraints, and coordination needs
  • Prepare reports and updates for executive leadership and program stakeholders
