About The Position

CCS Loans, also known as Jordan Construction Lending, LLC, is a business unit owned by Jordan Credit Union for the purpose of building and maintaining a robust portfolio of construction loans. CCS Loans collaborates with Jordan Credit Union in marketing efforts and financing construction loans projects.

Requirements

• Current State of Utah Mortgage Loan Originator license.
• Experience in underwriting, particularly with construction or real estate loans.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to assess financial documents, project viability, and understanding of risk management principles.
• Knowledge of construction processes and financing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with lending software and financial analysis tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and within deadlines while demonstrating strong organizational skills in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity, judgment, and maturity, with the ability to accept responsibility and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assess the risk associated with lending money for residential construction projects.
• Analyze borrower qualifications, project feasibility, and financial documentation to ensure that loans are sound and meet all guidelines.
• Assist the Director of Operations & Underwriting in managing the loan underwriting pipeline.
