About The Position

The Construction Litigation Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation cases, focusing on construction-related legal matters. This role requires a strong background in civil litigation, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to navigate the legal process effectively.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active bar membership in the state
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation strategies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Client-focused approach to legal practice

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in civil litigation cases
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare and present cases effectively
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements
  • Provide counsel to clients on legal matters and guide them through the litigation process
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with colleagues and legal support staff to ensure efficient case management
