About The Position

Construction laborers work on construction project sites where they perform various physical tasks. Their duties include clearing the construction area and preparing it for the commencement of construction work, safely packing and storing work materials as directed by the site supervisor, mixing and pumping concrete, sand, and grout, erecting and dismantling scaffolds and barricades, assisting in loading and unloading construction materials, purchasing minor construction materials like tap, binding wires, and twine, handling construction machines such as forklifts, repairing and maintaining construction tools and equipment, and clearing debris and tree stumps. They may also perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Education: may not be educated but must have the ability to understand written and verbal instructions
• Must be willing and ready to learn new ways of handling construction tasks
• Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions and adhere to plans and directives
• Applicants will be required to obtain health and safety certifications to be hired.

Responsibilities
