Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in construction preferred
  • OSHA 10 Hour certification or willingness to obtain after hire
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and perform physical labor in varying conditions
  • Basic understanding of construction safety practices
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take direction
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel to various job sites throughout the WNY region

Responsibilities

  • Assist with job setup, preparation, material handling, and clean‑up
  • Assist with demolition, concrete preparation, carpentry support, and other basic construction activities
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment to keep the job running smoothly
  • Operate basic hand tools such as hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, and drills
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times
  • Help ensure work areas meet safety and cleanliness standards before, during, and after finishing/painting tasks
  • Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times
  • Report safety, quality, or schedule concerns promptly to project supervisors
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow established safety measures on job sites
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and skilled trades to support project deadlines
  • Complete tasks thoroughly and efficiently as assigned
