About The Position

Site Preparation and Cleanup: Prepare construction sites by removing debris, trash, and potential hazards before and after construction. Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from designated areas on the job site. Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools, such as jackhammers, tampers, saws, and drills, as well as heavy machinery like skid steers or forklifts, if certified. Trades Assistance: Provide support to skilled craft -workers, including carpenters, masons, and electricians, with various tasks as needed. Concrete Work: Assist with concrete tasks, including digging, back -filling, mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces. Scaffolding and Bracing: Assemble and dismantle temporary structures like scaffolding and bracing. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

  • Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years in a construction laborer role, including familiarity with various construction processes.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools and a strong understanding of different construction materials.
  • Must be in good physical condition, with the ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • A team -oriented mindset with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • A history of following safety principles and a strong understanding of OSHA standards.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with a good driving record and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications, such as OSHA 10 or 30, are highly desirable.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
