About The Position

Champion Construction Service (CCS) is seeking an experienced and reliable construction laborer to join the team. The Laborer will participate in all aspects of the on-site assembly of manufactured housing and will report directly to a Construction Crew Lead.

Requirements

• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically.
• Must understand safety procedures.
• Must have good teamwork skills.
• Must live the Champion Operating Principles.
• Basic knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of houses or buildings.
• Ability to troubleshoot, reason, and solve problems.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
• Preference will be given to those applicants with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be available to work Monday through Saturday.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keeps area and site organized and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read blueprints and orders.
• Communicate well with coworkers.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
• Represent Champion with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
