Responsibilities

• Operating construction tools and/or small equipment
• Assisting equipment operators, carpenters, craft workers, and other skilled labor when necessary
• Prepping construction sites by removing obstacles and hazards
• Loading and unloading construction materials
• Removing, fill, or compact earth
• Follow instructions and learn from on-the-job training when necessary
• Performing site clean-up
• Following blueprints and building plans to meet clients’ needs
• Measuring, cutting, and/or shaping wood, plastic, and other materials
• Instructing and directing laborers and other construction helpers
• Making Concrete forms, forming slabs, walls, and structural slabs
