About The Position

The Construction Laborer position involves various tasks related to the construction industry, primarily focusing on working with concrete. The role requires physical strength and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. The laborer will be responsible for setting aluminum concrete forms, pouring concrete, and ensuring that work sites are clean and safe. The position also includes loading and unloading equipment and adhering to safety standards at all times.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have at least one year (12 months) of construction experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must be physically able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work required hours on Saturday and Sunday, when necessary.
• Must be able to work overtime, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions.
• Must understand that extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought can reduce the number of working hours.
• Must be able to work in variable weather and temperatures.
• Must be able to stand, walk, crawl, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands and arms to grasp, hold, and carry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set aluminum concrete forms.
• Pour concrete into forms.
• Carry, hold, position, and remove forms from set concrete using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts.
• Clean work sites.
• Load/unload equipment from trucks.
• Take proper safety precautions and use equipment properly according to safety standards.
• Complete other related duties as requested by supervisor.
