About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Construction Ironworker/Welder to join a dynamic construction team. This role is responsible for fabricating, installing, welding, erecting, and repairing iron and steel components used in commercial and industrial structures such as buildings and bridges. The ideal candidate is safety-driven, technically skilled, and thrives in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) years or less of welding experience and completion of an accredited two-year welding training program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints to determine material type, size, quantity, and placement.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to maintain steady hand and arm positioning during precision welding tasks.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods.
  • Comfort working in outdoor and industrial environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Rigging experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Construct, install, and erect iron or steel frameworks and structural components.
  • Fabricate, weld, join, and repair metal structures, equipment, fixtures, and tools using approved welding and construction techniques.
  • Perform welding using oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, and TIG processes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of project requirements.
  • Safely operate telehandlers, equipment lifts, scaffolding, and a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Work at elevated heights while maintaining balance, coordination, and adherence to fall-protection protocols.
  • Handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform work in environments that may include dust, noise, restricted movement, and exposure to hazardous materials.
  • Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety regulations, including proper use of PPE such as heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety footwear.
  • Complete job tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate effectively with supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines and quality standards.
